So I've been trying to exercise a lot lately. Lifting 3 times a week, running several miles a day, and doing strengthening exercises that I normally don't do. Part of this is to get stronger for volleyball, and partly just to get a stronger look overall. The other side of it is wanting to train for the eventual Ninja Warrior course John and I have planned... If we pull it off, it could become the coolest thing to have in a back yard ever, and it would help get us both in really good shape. Unfortunately, some of the ninja warrior obstacles are impossible to reproduce, and the ones we can build are still going to be insanely hard to actually do. Thus the need to do unusual exercises to get stronger - such as our daily "finger pull-ups" that we do on our cubicle walls while trying to pull ourselves across.
