There is not currently a method for doing this. I will add the ability to specify during the restore that you want all files to go to the internal storage. I will also add a way to copy pictures that are taken with the camera into app storage automatically. It will be a week or two before you see these changes.

Thanks for the update! Quick question:

Is there a way, when doing a restore, to specify the location of the restored files (internal, external, sd, etc)? I made the mistake when first setting up my library of pointing many songs to external... and now I have a band member who is buying a tab with no external memory. I'd love to be able to do a quick backup + restore onto his tablet and the songs go directly into the internal app storage. Also, as some songs are captured via camera and placed in the DCIM folder, it would be nice for the app to automatically place photos in the internal app storage.

That said, I'm totally loving this app! Thanks for giving me a reason not to buy an iPoo!

re: the two-finger pan saving, I'd prefer it was optional. Mainly because I wouldn't use it often, and if I did, I'd rather the next time, the song came up as normal.

I backed up before updating to 1.7. I backed up and restored before updating,
I could not restore after updating. This is not a big problem as I am using small
setlists to get used to using the software.
Thanks for the quick reponse.

Dale, quick question for you: was the backup made with version 1.6, and you are restoring with version 1.7? I'm worried that i may have caused an incompatibility problem with some of the improvements I was trying to make. This must be a huge inconvenience for you and I apologize. If the backup was from 1.7, then this baffles me, as I have tested the feature out on my own HP Touchpad numerous times without any issues. For your restore to fail immediately, it means that it can't even extract out the very first thing which is the database with your song entries. I will do anything I can to help with this.

When I try to restore my backup file I get the message "The restore has failed to complete due to an error. the file may corrupt or invalid. Your library may no longer work correctly." All my songs are gone when I return to the app and I have to rebuild my list. It is installed on an HP Touchpad running CM7 alpha 3.5
and has been very running my other installed apps.
Thank you,
Dale

Sorry to hear you are having problems with the companion app Jeff. I am still working on the update for tonight, but I will make sure to put in some additional error checking in the companion app to hopefully prevent this from happening.
