Files and Storage
Import files stored on the device or from an integrated cloud service. Use index files to split up large PDFs and use the backup features to safeguard your library. Let MobileSheets handle the file management or choose to structure your folders the way you prefer.
Supported File Types
MobileSheets supports PDFs, image files (.png, .jpg, etc) as well as text (.txt) and chord pro files (.cho). Supported audio file formats include .mp3, .m4a, .wav and .flac. Custom file formats are used for sharing and library backups to package many scores into a single file.
Add Multiple Files Per Score
Every score can use multiple PDFs or image files if desired. For example, add a file with notes at the start and a separate file for the score.
Text and Chord Pro Files
Import text or chord pro files and take advantage of all of the text display options to customize the appearance. Change the colors of chords, hide sections you don't want to see, or change the font properties on the fly. Transpose the key or apply a capo and the chords will immediately change. Metadata in chord pro files, such as title or artist, will be automatically read and applied to the song fields.
Index Files
Use CSV files to split apart large PDFs with many songs in them. Choose only the songs you need from the PDF. The MobileSheets community has shared a large number of CSV files on the forum.
File Management
Let MobileSheets take care of the file management or manage your files and folders in the way that works best for you. On Android, you can import files from any location and MobileSheets will use those files directly without copying them. On Android and Windows (but not iOS), you can select a different folder for MobileSheets to use, providing easier access to the library files.
Cloud Services
Use the built-in support for Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive to easily import and export files. Use the system file browser support to import files through other cloud service applications. Synchronize your library to the cloud to keep your devices in sync or to collaborate with other musicians.
Backup and Restore
Easily create backups of the entire library and all application settings. A single .msb file is created that can be safely stored or shared as needed. MobileSheets also creates automatic backups of the database to ensure that your work is protected in rare cases of file corruption.
Companion Application
Use the free companion application to manage your library from the comfort of your PC. Import files on your computer and they will be sent over WiFi to the tablet.
