I'm back to using MobileSheets on iOS because it will allow me to have autonomous libraries, where forScore will not. When I imported all of the PDF files I created from either Dropbox, or forScore, some include the tag .pdf, some don't. I tried both import settings for the title. I don't want to see the .pdf.
Hi
Have you got "Guess Title from Filename" selected in the Title field on the import dialog?
If so, change it to "Use Filename As Title".
I don't know if this will fix what you are seeing but, I don't get .pdf added to my song names.
Geoff
PS This will only affect songs that you then import, not ones that are already imported
Also, do you have Settings->Import Settings->Extract PDF Metadata enabled? If the title saved in the metadata includes the .pdf, that will be a problem, so you'd want to uncheck that option. Also, if you import just a single file at a time, the import settings dialog will actually display the title it's going to use at the top. So you can review what's going to be used.

As I mentioned I tried both settings.

Ah, that must be it. I was hoping that MS would bring in all the meta data I have in forScore, but from what I read here in the forum, there's more to it than that. I'll turn it off and try again. Thanks Mike.
EDIT: Yes, that worked.
