My tablet OS was not updating and the google keyboard stopped working.
So I decided to do a hard reset, which wipes all the data and programs from the tablet.
Becore doing so I made another backup of MS onto the Companion (and had earlier backups, but I wanted to make sure it was fully up to date).
I did a hard reset on the tablet, reinstalled MS from the Google Play Store and restored the backup from the Companion.
Worked like a charm! Whew!
(Simple story, but I am happy it worked).
