Full Version: Annotation text being covered by keyboard

I'm using Amazon Fire 10, MobileSheets version 3.8.43. When I am annotating and select the text tool, then click near the bottom of the page, the page does not scroll up enough and the text is covered.

Linking youtube doesn't work, so here's the link for you to manually enter in a browser:

I'll have to investigate this to see why the Amazon Fire is reporting an incorrect size for the virtual keyboard, so the page isn't being shifted up properly as a result (based on your video).

The recent update made things worse, sorry to say. Now, when I attempt to edit text at the top of the page, the page zooms upwards, showing the bottom of the text. I cannot scroll up to edit anything above the top of the window. I thought maybe I could edit in the companion, but see my other message from today about why I can't even use the companion app.

Here is a video link showing the behavior.

That is expected behavior. You have created one giant text annotation with multiple lines taking up almost the entire height of the page. The keyboard is displayed which then covers the bottom of that annotation, so the whole page is moved up as a result. That would give you access to the last line of the text annotation, which is normally where the editing would start. If you don't want to experience this, create a separate text annotation per line.
