Is there a way to change the default metronome speed so it applies to all new songs that are not have specific settings?
I am only using it for setting the scroll pace and would like it to default to something close to what I am likely to use.

At the moment, no, you can't change the default metronome settings. Adding options for that is on my list of things to do.
