I have searched through the forum and cannot find anything relevant to my query so I’m hoping someone might be able to assist me.

iPad Pro latest version.

I have a piece of music as a pdf page which requires a section to be removed. This I have done using the snipping tool. I then would like to cut and paste the section below and move it to where the removed portion was. I highlight the area using the snipping tool and copy it to the clipboard (I assume that it goes there). A dialogue box pops up saying long press to paste, which I do. A text box appears, with resizing points, but nothing else, and I am unable to find a way of pasting the image. What have I missed ?

That means you are long pressing on top of an existing annotation. You'll need to make sure to long press on the page where there isn't an annotation, then you'll see the option to paste.
