Hi All.

Is it possible to create a button on a sheet that will allow me to display a specific layer?

My Band uses Mobile sheets, and I administer the database. Sometimes, one of our bandmates would like to add some specific notes to a song. I assume that layers are the way to add these notes, but if more than one person wants to create notes, they will have to go into edit mode and select that specific layer. It would be really convenient to provide a button to see, say, "harmonica" or "bass" notes at the push of a button.

At the moment, no, that's something I would have to add to the list of supported actions, along with a selection to pick a layer from the available layers on the active page. Would you want the button just to toggle the visibility of that one layer, or would you want it to turn off all the other layers but that one?

Hi Mike.

Sorry for the late response, i thought i had email notification set. I think the latter option would be better for my needs. I'm thinking that way, each person in the band can have their own personal notes displayed. Maybe a singer makes notes, then a harp player has their notations in there, lead guitar put his tabs on the side, etc....

Of course i would have to carefully update that song sheet with their layer notes when they create them. It's a lot of work being the MobileSheets admin, but worth it! lol
