I was looking for a touch action to display the notes in a song (in non-edit mode like they are shown at the start of a song when it is ticked in the preferences).

I couldn't find it, so in case I didn't miss it I would like to suggest to add such an action for convenient viewing of the notes after the initial load of a song.

Okay, I can add support for this if it will be useful.

I certainly think it would be useful. Hopefully not only me. Thanks.
