I purchased at 7.30 this morning and by 9.30 I was using it to play for music exams. Only a couple of minor blips which have already been listed.

I don't understand that from a language point of view. I read "in anger" as "angry", but that's definitely not what your post says.

It's an expression that means 'seriously':-)
I didn't recognize that expression either and thought it was bad news at first
Exams? Seems more like d-anger to me :-)
