The trashcan option in the song editor deletes the entry which duplicates the 'x' action for the song being edited, which is fine for the song being edited. It also deletes the the entire drop down entry which affects all of the songs that use that item. In other words, when a genre or key or ???? is selected, and used for more than one song, using the trashcan deletes the selection from all the songs, not just the one being edited. This can cause confusion/inadvertent deletion and probably needs rethinking. The specific drop down entry can be deleted/removed under its own screen currently.
