Dear all,

recently I found out how to change the page order in the file tab. That was actually quite usefull as I have a long pdf (140 pages) with a few white pages on the wrong place where it is even difficult to jump with a link. Unfortunately happened what I was afraid for: annotations disappeared or went to the next page. Behaviour is actually unpredictable: some annotations stayed on the right place, others jumped.

does this happen to others as well?

Yes, I had this problem, some time ago.
Michael suggested to copy the file, before changing the page order:

I do not know, if this issue was fixed, but I am always very carefull every time I change the page order since...

That is an idea, but it does not really help if I want to use the file with the new page order.

I am investigating issues with annotations not being placed on the correct page after changing the page order. Another user reported having the same problem, so there is obviously a bug in my code that needs to be fixed.
