I would find a formater which changed plain text to chordpro format very handy.

Something similar to http://ukegeeks.com/tools/, but built into the text editor.

The ChordPro reference implementation https://github.com/ChordPro/chordpro/releases/
and SongPress https://github.com/lallulli/songpress/releases/ also can do such conversions.

Although not a great fan of the Chordpro format, I've used Chordsmith to great effect - http://www.statistics101.net/chordsmith/

I was thinking of a format convertor built into MSP text editor. Many of us use MSP to display only tabs and get our tabs from Ultimate Guitar. This makes the importing take several steps. I am much too lazy for extra steps.

I can certainly look into creating something for that in the future once time allows.
