I cannot now connect my MSP-equipped Android tablet to  my Companion-equipped PC (previously not a problem). The Status on the tablet says 'Mobile Sheets Companion is running version 30105. This is compatible.' However, a pop-up window on Companion says 'You appear to be connecting to an outdated version of MobileSheetsPro. Please update MobileSheetsPro to the latest available version.' Tablet settings says I have version 2.9.2. I have gone into Google Play, found MSP and tapped the update button but nothing happens. I am now stuck; any ideas, please, anybody?

I'll will send you instructions for how to manually update the app outside the Google Play Store.
