When I open "Select Items" from the song editor window, available items show up in alfabetical order, uppercase / lowercase is ignored

This is logical and the expected behaviour.
When I open "Select Items" from the filters bar, the dialog shows items with uppercase names first, items with lowercase names below

This is a bit confusing.
I tested with MSP 3.5.9 and 3.6.5 on windows.
The issue exists for source types and collections, genre is ok. I did not check other groups.
