Hi Mike,

Would it be possible to add a checkbox to the pdf export function (share - export files) that allows OCR text in a pdf to remain in the exported file?
I usually have the check on "ios compatible.." checked.

I like to annotate my pdf's with chords and then back them up on my pc/mac. I use the ocr to be able to find songs containing certain words/themes/artists etc.

If you check the option for 'iOS compatible annotations", then no, that is not possible. A completely new PDF is created when you enable that option, each page is just rendered as an image and the images are inserted into the new PDF. Any other information in the PDF is lost. If you uncheck that option, then the original PDF is used, so that should perserve the OCR text.
