Full Version: Connection Problems with Companion V1.5.5

When I try to connect to Companion, I don't receive a popup. Tablet says "Connection from PC accepted, sending acknowledgement." Eventually it ends the connection. We are running V1.5.5 version of companion. We turned off the virus firewall and that didn't work either. We have 2 Samsung tablets, one running Jelly Bean and the other running Ice Cream Sandwich. This started happening several weeks ago after upgrading the Companion software.

We can use Android ADB to via USB to transfer files between Window and the tablet but neither Wifi nor USB are working with the Companion.
Did you also turn off windows firewall or unblock MobileSheets? This is a pretty important step, as port 16569 is required. Other users have also had success after rebooting their router.

Thanks Mike,
We removed and reinstalled our antivirus software (Avast) and told it to allow Mobilesheets. It is now working.
We think somehow one of the antivirus updates broke everything.
