Incorrect use of "Piece" - Geoff Bacon - 04-29-2025 Hi Mike This is just for info as I can't repeat it (and I'm not bothered for a fix) Wanted to create a Songlist of a set list tonight Selected Setlist, 3 dots, menu displayed "Generate Piece List" Generated the list to Gmail I'd never seen Pieces before (I typically do this operation once per week) Went into settings, 'Use the Term "Piece" instead of "song" ' was not checked. Repeated operation and, this time, the menu said "Generate Song List" Geoff MS 3.9.17 RE: Incorrect use of "Piece" - Zubersoft - 04-29-2025 That's very strange - I'll keep an eye out for it. Thanks, Mike RE: Incorrect use of "Piece" - IanMSpencer - 05-05-2025 FYI, I had Pieces pop up on the main screen captions a couple of weeks ago on Android 3.9.17 for no apparent reason. Switched the setting on and off and it cleared. Not seen that before and couldn't say what triggered it. It hasn't recurred since. RE: Incorrect use of "Piece" - Zubersoft - 05-05-2025 In order to support using "pieces" instead of "songs" everywhere in the app, I actually have a completely separate translation file that I utilize for "pieces". I force the locale to be different when I want the "pieces" translation to be used. So it should, in theory, be impossible for pieces to be shown in one part of the app and not in others, as the active translation/locale controls that. So I really have no idea how that occurred or how to reproduce it. Mike |
