PDF embed link error causing program to become unresponsive - RickyAMoody - 05-06-2025
I am experiencing significant delays when clicking embedded links in PDFs, causing your program to become unresponsive for 2-4 minutes.
This issue has only recently appeared, despite having a powerful system (Windows 10, 64 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD) and the latest version of the application.
Even after adjusting the default settings, the problem persists. Can anyone help me fix this issue. Thanks you!

You can try going to Settings->Display Settings->Render Preference and switch from "Quality" to "Speed" or vice versa, which changes which PDF library is used. This will also change how hyperlinks in PDFs will be detected and triggered. Regardless, I have no idea why you would be seeing any delay at all. Can you share one of the PDFs with mike@zubersoft.com?
