Creating subfolders - Simon P. - 06-25-2025 Hello! I've been using MobileSheetsPro for some time now. I have an archive where I organize my music into folders with various subfolders. However, I haven't found a way to create folders with subfolders in Mobilesheets yet. Obviously can I create setlists and collections, but regular folders would be more practical. Is there any way to do that? Best regards, Simon RE: Creating subfolders - Cerio - 06-26-2025 Why would you want to organize your pdfs in folders and subfolders within MS? The point of using a database program like Mobilesheets is being able to organize and search your data in a much more powerful andflexible way, and being able to find the data you're looking for much faster. As long as you organize your pdf collection well in the database, I wouldn't care at all about how these files are stored by the program. RE: Creating subfolders - Zubersoft - 06-26-2025 MobileSheets does not support folders, as I have no desire to recreate something like a file system with an infinite level of depth, as it's slow to navigate. I know this is a divisive topic for some users that love having many folders, but the absence of folders or anything like that is intentional. If you want to use MobileSheets, you'll have to change the way you manage the organization, filtering, sorting, etc to utilize metadata for your grouping instead. You can have the option to manage all the files on the device however you would like though. Mike |
