Yes, network Private is checked, public is not.

Yes, these are are both checked on the Advanced tab.

3) If you still can't connect to your Android device after performing steps #1 and #2, then if you have anti-virus or firewall software running, you should try disabling them to see if they are interfering with the connection.

Did that. No effect.

4) The last thing you should try is rebooting your router. This fixes connection problems frequently for users

Still no connection.

Also, please try switching to using WiFi instead of USB just to see if that has any impact. You said you are using a USB cable, so I'm assuming you have enabled the option in the companion app to connect over USB. If that is not the case, you can ignore this, but also verify that the WiFi icon is orange on the sync screen of your Android device. Also reboot the Android device and the PC if you haven't done so yet.

Fixed! I don't remember ever having to change the "Enable Advanced Connection Options" before. Maybe I did years ago and forgot. I did wonder why I wasn't seeing the USB option in the "Connection" tab. I suppose it was reset during the update, which was a bit confusing. Thanks for your help!
