Is it possible to rotate a page once loaded?
#1
I am a newbie with a very novice question. I have loaded a pdf file that has 26 songs in it. For some reason the person who originally scanned the music did each sheet horizontally. Now when I view them on screen they appear sideways. Is there any way I can rotate each page or the entire file so they appear vertically, as they should in order to read them?

Also is there any way I can separate out each individual song in to its own file, as opposed to having them combined in to the one file as they are now? I just have Adobe Acrobat Reader free version.
Thanks.

1 - You will find quite a few rotate apps in the Google Play store. That would solve that problem.

2 - You can separate to individual files, but Adobe Reader is no good for this. If you are prepared to pay for it, I find Boxoft PDF Split (http://www.boxoft.com/pdf-split/) and excellent software to do this. Alternatively look for freeware that can do the same job.

Of course, while you are doing this, you can correct the orientation problem at the same time and you won't need the rotate app.

The PDF-Split works well for dividing up the file into the separate pages. The odd thing is that I need to use Acrobat Reader to rotate the page. When I then save the page with Reader, it reverts back to the wrong orientation. I could not find a way to use PDF-Split to rotate the page nor to view the page. I realize I may well be missing something in the program so any advice wil be appreciated. Thanks

That's correct, PDF split will not rotate the pages.

Since there are only 26 items concerned here, I would print them out, re-scan and re-load in the correct orientation (or use an Android rotating app).

I am adding rotation support for PDFs in the next update, so this may be of use.

I found the split, merge and rotate tools all in one program called PDFill PDF Editor. It is nice to have them all together. They are free and have no watermarks, so they are working well for me.

Having the rotation option as part of MS will also be nice. Thanks for keeping up with the improvements. MS is working very well for me!
