Wedding Music
#1
Music
I have been searching the internet, then a light bulb went off Idea ...why not ask a bunch of music experts!!

I have been asked by a friend to play the music for her wedding ceremony, now it has been over 10 years since I got married and I didn't do a lot of things traditionally. SOOO....I'm seeking your help in what everyone else has played for a wedding ceremony. Now keep in mind, that I will need to find the piece for a Solo Clarinet or have access to an accompaniment CD or something. Suggestions???? I greatly appreciate all the help!

If you're still looking, Lynne Latham has a few albums of music for violin and piano which have an accompaniment CD. You could transpose the violin parts and play along with the CD. I can call her and find out how to get it if you can't find it.

Ron,  Thanks for the info.  I did find some of Lynne's music on Sheet Music PLUS.  However, I'm limited on time so at this point, I can't transpose.  I will definitely keep it in mind for the future.

For those looking for any kind of music, I did find a great site http://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/ .  For a yearly membership fee of $38, you can get A LOT of music for free, some even with the piano music, also MP3 / Midi files and if you do need to purchase, it is usually 50% off for members.

Speaking of MP3's, I have a couple of MP3's that plays both the Clarinet part and the Piano part.  I would like to "edit" the song to get rid of the Clarinet part and keep the piano part....does anybody have any suggestions??  I would like something that is easy to use as I'm not the greatest with stuff like that!

Hi, you can only seperate the piano and the clarinet part, if they are two separate tracks in the mp3. If you like, you can email me one of the mp3 files and I can check and seperate them for you, if possible.

What is your email?  If you can separate the clarinet and leave the piano that would be wonderful.
