#1
I have 4 French language CD's which I would like to install on my Acer Iconia A500 Tablet computer. I have them downloaded on my PC desktop. Thanks for any info given. If I need another App to do this please advise. Thanks again.

I found these:

Personally I would change the file format to MP3 (or similar.) For spoken voice, a higher compression would be ok (maybe 128) to reduce the file size considerably, then use a USB flash drive to transfer. Use Astro file manager (I think it might already be on your tablet? or download it) to use to copy/move. From memory I think you can copy to anywhere on your 'sd card' which is the tablet's memory (just in its own folder) and your music app should be able to find it to list; or just copy to the android music folder.
I sometimes use Astro for moving files around for MobileSheets and it is useful for other tasks (it is free, but there is a paid version which I purchased to say thanks to them.)

why, are they copy-protected somehow? I wonder if the license allows you to play them on a CD player and record them into your computer (or MP3 recorder) for your personal use or backup, since you already have them.

This link is more information:

It might be possible to use a 4-ring plug that connects to your tablet to record from (using the headphone socket that also, they say, has a mic input) so you might be able to record from a CD player.
