CSVFile för "Real Vocal Book"
#1
Hello,
I have have scanned copy of "The Real Vocal Book", and would like to have the songs imported to MSP.

I found one csv file on GitHub, which starts:

Quote:A Child is Born,13,
A Fine Romance,15,
A Foggy Day,17,
A Night in Tunisia,19,
Afro Blue,21,
Ain't Misbehavin,25,
Alice in Wonderland,27,

When I use it, only the first page of each tune is used. (Which is a expected behavior)
As a lazy man, I would like to think there is a ready csv-file somewhere, with the correct pages.

Thanks!

I had to remove the image in your post because there is some kind of problem with embedding images in forum posts (it just shows up as an encoded string). If you can add the image as an attachment with your post, that would be best. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The CSV file should look like

title,pages,
A Child is Born,13-14,
A Fine Romance,15-16,
...

My favorite to edit CSV files is LibreOffice Calc. I attached an example with formulas that might help.
Please share your results as soon as you have completed the CSV file

No problem, it was just the first page of the book.

Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. And thanks for adapting the thread title to "CSVFile ..." for easy finding with the forum's search function.
