Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post, because this issue involves the interaction between Windows and Android versions. However, the problem does seem to be with the Windows version.
When I search blank pages on this site I have seen several reports of pages being blank after being imported. This is something different, though. Songs are fine after import, whether I import into the Windows version or the Android version.
I have a Windows PC and three tablets (one Android and two ChromeOS) with MobileSheets installed. I am importing a PDF file with 13 songs and then creating 13 snippets from the songbook. If I do this in Windows, everything is fine. There are no blanks in the songbook nor are any of the snippets blank. However, if I sync upload my database to OneDrive and then sync to a tablet, 11 of the 13 songs in the songbook are blank, and so are the corresponding songs that were clipped in Windows. This happens with all three of my tablets.
Now, what's interesting is when I reverse the procedure. If I import the songbook into one of the tablets and create the 13 snippets, everything works with no problem. However, if I sync the tablet to OneDrive and then sync my Windows PC, 11 songs in the songbook are blank and the snippets created from those 13 songs are also blank. So blank pages are created going from Android to Windows or from Windows to Android.
Has anybody else seen this?

That definitely sounds strange. Let me ask this - if you open one of the songs that is blank on Windows, then go into the cropping editor, is there any cropping applied? If you clear that cropping, does it fix the issue?
Thanks,
Mike

Okay, I give up. I've spent the last half hour trying to find the cropping editor. As good as the manual is at explaining a setting or option, I find it's not always helpful finding it in the first place. It says to tap the icon at the right side of the page preview to bring up the cropping screen. I tried to figure out where the page preview area is, but this is the only mention of it in the manual! Will you please tell me how to find the cropping editor?
Thanks.

Mike, I figured out how to do this. This is what I did and what I found:
I went into the Song Editor and chose the Files tab.
The screen displayed "Files: 1 Blank Page".
On the lower right, there was no crop icon, only RESET CROP buttons and AUTO-CROP buttons, neither of which did anything.
So it appears that there is no pdf file associated with this song. I view the title either from the Songs tab or from the song name in my setlist. The results are the same.
Thanks for your help. What else can I do?

I'm confused - if you have added blank pages to your songs, then yes, those are going to be blank. That's exactly what a blank page is for. You cannot crop a blank page. I was under the impression that you are using PDFs though, not blank pages in your songs. Are you using blank pages in some songs and PDFs in others?

Mike, I know you're busy, but please read my earlier messages. Actually, I'll try to explain this again. I am using PDFs. I am not adding blank pages to my songs. Something in the sync process is making song pages blank. I start out with a PDF file that has 12 or 13 one- or two-page songs (with no blank pages). I then create a snippet for each song. None of them are blank. I add all the snippets to a setlist. I can page through the songs in the setlist; there are still no blank pages. I then sync to the cloud and then from the cloud to my other device. Now on the second device, most of the songs in my original PDF file are blank. All the snippets I created for those songs (on the first device) are blank (on the second device). There are still no blank pages on the first device.
This happens when I import the PDF file to my Windows PC and then sync to an Android (or ChromeOS) tablet. It happens when I import the file to my Android tablet and sync to my Windows PC. I am currently playing from a tablet into which I imported the PDF file and created the snippets. All the songs are there; there are no blank pages. I cannot play using MobileSheets on my PC, because I synced from the tablet and the songs are gone, replaced by blank pages.
This also happened when I imported a PDF file with a single one-page song and synced it. The imported song is there; the synced song is blank.

I absolutely read all your messages, hence my confusion. You stated this:
The screen displayed "Files: 1 Blank Page".
That means that your PDF was replaced by a blank page (there is no file tied to a blank page)? I don't know how that would even be possible. Something is not adding up between the libraries you are synchronizing. Are you making sure to use a one-way sync to push changes and a one-way sync to pull changes?
I'm going to need access to library backups (Settings->Backup and Restore->Backup Library) from you from two of those devices and the folder you are synchronizing to, because otherwise I have no way of looking into this. I use the synchronization feature all the time, and even after years of using it, I've never seen a PDF replaced by a blank page, or seen blank pages occur after a synchronization. I have also not heard from any other users experiencing anything like that. You can upload and share the .msb files with mike@zubersoft.com if you'd like me to investigate this further (along with access to the sync folder).
Thanks,
Mike

I just wanted to make sure I was thorough with this, so I ran the following test:
1) I imported a 13 page PDF on Windows
2) I used the "Create Snippet" feature to split that PDF into four separate songs, each using a different page range
3) I synchronized to a OneDrive folder
4) I synchronized my Android tablet to the same folder with the sync type set to "Update Device".
5) I loaded all of the snippets and verified they all displayed correctly
It all works exactly like I would expect and I don't see any blank pages. So I don't know how to reproduce what you are describing. Hopefully your backup files will shine some light on what's going on.
