clear "songs" filter
#1
Hi, when I set a filter on the "songs" tab and when I return then back / clear the filter by pressing on the "x", the filter is obviously still active showing me the number of songs found previously by the filter but it is not reset to "0", showing me a black screen with no songs and is not showing me all songs in the library as it should in my view.
This is only happening on my windows installation of mobilesheets pro, but works fine as it should on my android installation.

Is there anything that I might have set wrong in the settings on the windows installation?

See attached files to illustrate my issue. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm struggling to reproduce the problem you've described (I'm assuming you have version 3.8.41). If I enter a search term, then press the X to clear all filters, it clears the search term and all the songs pop back into view. So I'm not sure how to reproduce what you are seeing. It may help if you can go to Settings->Backup and Restore->Export Settings and send me the .mcf file to mike@zubersoft.com, and also send mobilesheets.db under C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Packages\41730Zubersoft.MobileSheets_ys1c8ct2g6ypr\LocalState

Thanks,
Mike

It appears you have a couple of values that are causing an exception in Microsoft's framework when it tries to normalize them:

᫼Ñ\u0019ᖰ眷菛镦￾￿韮眵봳牑\u001f
᫼Ñ\u0019ᖰ眷菛镦￾￿韮眵봳牑\u001f
Clara Oaks - Dir gehört mein Herz (Reprise) [From the Musical "Tarzan"] [Karaoke Version] - Originally Performed By Original Neue Flora Hamburg Cast of "Tarzan"

Interpret: ᫼Ñ\u0019ᖰ眷菛镦￾￿韮眵봳牑\u001f
Komponist:

If you remove the invalid unicode code points, then it should load normally and fix the issue I believe. To be clear, the invalid characters just show up as boxes in MobileSheets, but it's causing errors under the covers. So please remove those invalid characters and then check to see if the problem vanishes.

Hello Mike, thank you for your investigations so far, but actually I dont know what you mean by "invalid unicode points". Where I will find these invalid entries and characters, I am actually not able to fix it myself. Do you have a tip where I should look for them to delete them. Thanks.

I listed the values up above that you need to fix. Long press the song containing

Clara Oaks - Dir gehört mein Herz (Reprise) [From the Musical "Tarzan"] [Karaoke Version] - Originally Performed By Original Neue Flora Hamburg Cast of "Tarzan"

Interpret: ᫼Ñ\u0019ᖰ眷菛镦￾￿韮眵봳牑\u001f
Komponist:

to select it, tap "Edit Song" and remove the invalid characters that show up as a box. If you need to rename certain metadata groups, watch this tutorial video: https://youtu.be/Wk6m6JlgqRY
