Albums and other group fields are always sorted alphabetically unless you change the sort order for that particular tab. The only options available for group tabs at the moment is A-Z, Datae Created, Date Modified or Numerically as Geoff mentioned. There is no manual sort order for groups, because there is no editor where you could rearrange them.
