ABC and ChordPro issues
#1
Hey there,
I've been using Mobile Sheets for years and just recently started experimenting with the abc notation in chord pro files. Unfortunately I'm struggling quite a bit.

I used EasyABC to generate the following abc notation, so it should be correct:

{start_of_abc}

scale=1.5
X:1
L:1/8
M:6/8
K:F#
"D#m" [,A,D]3 "F#" [,A,F]3 |"C#6" [,A,E]3 "C#" [,A,A]3 | "F#/G#" [,A,A]3 "D#m" [,A,G]2 [,A,F]|"C#6" [,A,E]6 :|

{end_of_abc}

The attached screenshot shows what it looks like in easyABC. The thing is, it just won't show up in Mobile Sheets when I insert it in my chord pro file within Mobile Sheets. There is just nothing where there should be the abc notation. What am I missing?

Also, I have some questions / suggestions concerning chord pro and abc on macOS. When editing a chord pro file in Mobile sheets the arrow left and arrow right keys of my MacBook keyboard don't work, which is kind of annoying. Is there a way to change that in a future update maybe? Or is it just my local settings that I need to change?

Also, inserting chords in abc drives me crazy: I need to put them in "" but just using the regular keyboard " won't work for me. Probably that's because I'm using a German keyboard layout, but it will always turn out like this: „D#m“. That way, Mobile Sheets doesn't recognize it as a chord and stops to show the abc notation altogether. The only workaround I've found is Copy and paste another chord so I have the correct " and then change it. But whenever I change a character in a chord, the "" will turn to „“ again, unless I hit command + z after the change. Editing a "C" to "D#m" takes 6 steps: Changing C to D, command + z, adding #, command + z, adding m, command + z.

This in combination with not being able to use the arrow keys makes it hard to enjoy the great feature of abc within a chord pro file Confused

Maybe I just need to adjust some settings or am missing anything else? Thanks for any advice!
Micha
