It's not about money - it's just about time. Software development takes time, especially when I'm just one person managing every facet of the business including all the customer support (which takes up a good chunk of my time). I don't have a desire to grow my business by hiring more people (as that usually results in a change of the business model to something more like a subscription model). I know it's hard to wait for changes, and this update is taking longer than most due to the large amount of ChordPro changes that have occurred over the years, but I made a committment to implement these changes. I know you don't care about ChordPro, but many others do. I'm not "rewriting" ChordPro, I'm just adding missing features that were added to the specification.
I'm considering at the moment making the changes that have been discussed with faster switching of libraries from the main library screen (and of course changing the default backup name) as well as isolating storage between libraries with the next update. That will push out the release date a bit, but then you wouldn't have to wait for a second update to get it.
