MobileSheetsPro Companion does not connect anymore

I updated all versions, which did not fix the problem.
- MobileSheetsPro Companion version 2.8.3 Windows 10
- MobileSheetsPro version 2.5.9 Android 5.1.1

Windows Firewall is open. I cannot figure out what is wrong.
Connection is attempting 4 times then the error message "Unable to connect to tablet  . . . . . .  . . make sure port 8888, 16568 and 16569 . . .  "

Also USB connection is not working (the USB connection is ok, I can browse files using the windows explorer)
I allowed MobileSheetsPro to connect in debug mode.

Please suggest what to do
I've just joined the forum and this thread so don't know if you've got this sorted yet. I had this problem when I got a new Chromebook, trying to sync to the Companion. I got it to work by going  to Sync to PC,  manually enter the PC's IP address then it linked led up fine.
