Maybe you just misspoke, But to clear up a possible misunderstanding: There are no files neither sheets nor audio in the database. The database is in the mobilesheets.db which stores the information where your files are and how they are used and displayed. You can choose to let MSP managing where it puts the files or maintain your own file and folder structure.

Having said this, you can in both cases reuse any sheet or audio file for other entries after the first import. You just have to use the local file browser in the audio edit tab and find where the audio file you want to reused is saved and select it. If you have the audio file already attached to your first sheet you can look in the audio tab for the path it is saved in.

(And you can manage your own structure in the Win version. I always do. But I'm not sure if you need to have the file location set for that in the initial install and if switching from one to the other is possible or easily done. Maybe you have to reinstall MSP for this.)

In my case, I've left MobileSheets to handle the file location. Under its "data root", it created 1 subdir for each song, and within each of these subdirs are the files for the respective song (in my case the sheet pdf and the audio mp3). So if I "reuse" an already existing audio file, it will be stored a second time in the subdir of the other song (which, in my case, is the same piece of music, but a different voice).

Probably I would have been better off to organise the files in my own directory structure. This would also give the advantage of having the different voices of the same piece of music within one subdirectory, together with the respective audio file. And I could have the files in a hirarchical structure which also suits my needs outside of MobileSheets.
Maybe I find a good way to switch, as long as I still have only ~1000 sheet files in there - I'll report it here.
And I have to see how it works when importing the backup of the Windows version into the Android version of MSP.
