Does anybody know of a good hard case for the tablet so that it is well protected when all the musical equipment is tiransported?

eBay would honestly be a good source. Otterbox makes a case for the Galaxy Tab 10.1, and there are some off brands out there that may be of interest to you as well.

For an external case itself, SKB, Pelican (et al.) make cases specifically for protection. A small laptop one might work. Also the hard (silver) 'camera cases' could be used, usually the foam inside can be cut and formed to your tablet size so it is securely held.

i'm looking for a case for my new toshiba excite, the revolving case for the i pad seems not available for other tablets, i need to be able to stand it up in portrait mode, any ideas, cheers

Using these two (the smaller one inside the bigger one), I hope that protects it when I am taking it somewhere (although I probably should have gotten a (larger) case with shoulder strap.

This does nothing when I am actually using the tablet, in which case it is in the tablet holder (not too sturdy).
