Is there a way to load *.pro files from a laptop (Windows 10) running MobileSheets Companion to an iPad running MobileSheets? I've done some searching but haven't been able to find anything specific for that situation.

Yes, you can import .pro files in the iPad version of MobileSheets. If MobileSheets is connected to the companion app, you can just drag & drop .pro files into the companion app window, create a new song and then you can load that song on the iPad. Are you running into a problem importing your files?

I haven't tried it yet. I was assuming there might be some trick to it. I'm going to be jamming with some friends who have an iPad and wanted to share my songs with them for the occasion. I load in batches on my Android tablet.
