Delete after importing?
#1
I am setting up a new tablet but not transferring anything from the old one.
Assuming I am letting MS handle files, I am concerned that I might inadvertently delete the files from the original source. Is the preferred method to first copy all pdfs from a source to the tablet rather than importing directly to the database?
I am aware that I do not need to select 'delete files after importing' but is there a warning if I mistakenly selected delete after importing?

How are you tranferring the files and from what?

If from a windows pc, then why not use the companion to import the files? - that doesn't delete the source files.

If you enable the option to delete the originals after importing, there is no warning. There is no other way the original files would be impacted though, as MobileSheets creates a copy of every file that is imported. If you import from the cloud, the files are not deleted off the cloud - that setting only applies to files you are importing on the device itself.
