Sir;
Looking to reliably synchronize two tablets for one musician using Bluetooth (book mode).
Find some instructions, seems to be for earlier version mobile sheets. An earlier book mode configuration worked as expected but intermittently. Now I am unable to get two fire tablets to work book mode at all. Seems tablets spontaneously pair with other Bluetooth devices.
I am confused abiut how to reliably pair two tablets (Bluetooth) and sync for one musician.
Please advise … thank you.

It can be a little tricky to get devices connected over bluetooth. I would recommend trying the following:
1) Go to the bluetooth settings on both devices
2) Forget the pairing of the devices on each device
3) Turn bluetooth off, then back on on both devices
4) Now pair the two devices to each other
5) Open MobileSheets on both devices
6) Tap the overflow menu, then "Connect Tablets"
7) Tap "New Leader" on one tablet, enable Book Mode, and tap OK
8) Tap the entry when it shows up on the second tablet and tap "Join Group"
If this doesn't work, let me know what error you encounter.

I'm not sure what that means exactly. If you load the setlist individually on each device and turn through the pages, are they shown in the exact same order?

I had this working yesterday. I went to rehearsal today and had trouble, ran out of time, and gave up.
What's the full process
supposed to be for reestablishing two-tablet mode? For instance, the next day, after having rebooted the tablets in the interim?
These are two Surface Pro 8 tablets, fully up to date with Windows 11 and the latest MobileSheets.

Over bluetooth or WiFi? Typically, you should just need to go to "Connect Tablets", create group on one tablet, then join that group on the other tablet. You really shouldn't have to jump through any hoops.
