If you want to embed annotations in the PDF, tap the three dots at the top right corner of the annotations editor, then tap "Embed Annotations". There is also a setting to automatically embed annotations, but it defaults to false every time you start up the application as a safety precaution, as you can't reverse embedding annotations.

The list of import sources is only going to keep growing as I add more cloud services and options. On smaller devices, there is barely any room for icons, so I don't want to create a list you'd have to scroll through or anything of that sort.
You can have your own list of files that you reuse for songs as needed, as a file can be added to multiple songs. You can rename the file after import if you need it to be uniquely named for any reason. I may support an option to create a document from templates, but I'll need more feedback from users for how often that would really be useful. MobileSheets is not really an editor - it's a library management tool with some basic editing features.
It involves an extra step, but you can tap the page order field, tap the three dots at the top right and select the option to "Save as New PDF". That will get you the copy you want. To answer your question - yes, I can add an option to generate a copy with new name when I get time.
Thanks for that!
I'd like to share a thought with you: there's a "troubling" option: "create a dummy piece." It's strange; I used this option when I needed a blank page for a student using your application. It's already useful, but if I try to save it in "PDF overlay" mode, it takes forever. Maybe because the document doesn't have a name? I'm not sure, but it never ends.
Yet, that's exactly where I started: a dummy document, then some notations, then save. It's quite logical, but you can't give it a name. It would be wise to ask what template you want for this document? Then, what name do you want to give it?
In teaching, we use few templates: 1. a blank page, 2. an existing score, 3. a tablature, 4. a score, 5. a list of chords...
We see that the concept of an "empty" template (with just what you want) becomes very useful...
I wrote it with a translator, I hope you understand...

I like the idea. It would be interesting to use "Add a fictiv document" and ask "Based on ?", you ask for a destination name and you have a good solution , wouldn't it ?
You can already save your templates in whatever format you like in MobileSheets. I recommend putting them into an extra collection. Then rightclick a template, call "Copy Song", Select "Copy Contents into New File", fill title and other meta data and that's it.
