During practicing, or even rehearsing, it would be very useful to see the battery level next to the clock like as "9:09 (85%)" or similar, to see if I soon need to plug in the charger.

A battery level indicator is certainly on the list of things to add at some point.

Another way of achieving this is:
… > Settings > Display Settings > Fullscreen Mode (the last option in the Display Settings menu)> Off
This enables the OS' notification bar which includes clock, battery level and more.
