If the only thing I need to do is modify the ABC contents to replace B with H, and b with h, then yes, I can do that. I'm not an expert on ABC files though, so I don't know if there is any more to it than that. It will be helpful if Johan can give me a little guidance on this just so that I don't have to either reinvent the wheel or study the ChordPro code to see what he is doing. That would just save me some time.

I must be missing something, because I just tested a file in the main ChordPro application that contained an ABC section, and it did not replace the B chords with H when transcoding to German. It did that for the chords specified outside the abc section, but not for the chords specified within.

I'm going to just move forward with looking for any chords specified in quotes and replacing them if needed based on the localization settings.

UPDATE:
I have it working and I can't see any issues so far with it, so it will be included with the next update.
