Backup Fails - Not Enough Space
#1
I just received this error while creating a backup to a USB thumb drive. The thumb drive has 230GB of free space which is much more than is needed by the backup. I tried to attach an image of the error message; but couldn't get that to work. Here is an OCR of the screen capture:

The backup has failed to complete due to the following:
System.Exception: There is not enough space on the disk. (Exception from HRESULT:

I solved the problem. I had the thumb drive formatted as FAT32. Reformatting to ExFAT worked.
