Do any of you have experience using a Lenovo Idea Pad Pro to read sheet music? I'm eager to know how easy it is to read scores from it, how easy it is to notate scores, how smoothly it works with a Bluetooth page turner pedal, and how smoothly MobileSheets runs on it.
Couple of dumb questions please (I play in an community philharmonic orchestra and need to work with my desk partner in rehearsal, both editing a score.)
I found some Lenovo tablets 12.7", matte screen,at a sale price yesterday. Bought two for the price of one. Have installed mobile sheets onto both, ver 3.9.17 from Google play
Pairing the two tablets isn't seamless, but it works with a bit of fiddling around 'forgetting' connections, etc
Attempting to sync the library via Bluetooth brought up JavaScript errors (primary as a server and secondary as the client, assume correct) and looped Bluetooth connection/disconnection, so I couldn't test updating library via bluetooth
Questions I can't solve and would appreciate guidance on if I may. 10:55pm and work in the morning.
(1) With the tablets side-by-side, it's possible to see the pages in ”book mode", however, the two tablets edit scores independently. (Makes sense, as they're stored separately) Q:is there a way to sync the files on changes or every couple of minutes, or set up the dual pages so that the same file is being shown on both screens (so it's being edited jointly a'la Google docs, etc...)
(2) Is it possible to host a file on Google drive and have both tablets reference the same file as a workaround? (Prefer not to be IoT and work locally, perhaps draw on the server file, not the client.)
(3) Answer is probably not, but I'll ask...is there a way to use the one pen on both tablets when it's paired by Bluetooth to one only?
Thanks in advance for any help/advice you can offer.
I habe an issue with the app on my Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. The volume of the songs always change after playing them again. Does someone else have this issue? What can I do?
Hallo..
I have given all songs an Song Id number and I have found out how to display the song_Id after the tittle. Normally it's fine to sort the songs A-Z, but I would like to have the opportunity to sort by Song_Id.
Will that be possible ?
Regards from a new user
Most of the text annotations I use don't have a border around them, but occasionally I want to add a measure number to a piece with a border around it to match the ones printed on the original page.
My problem is that the border leaves more horizontal space than I want, both before and after the text. For example, see the annotations for measures 79 and (especially) 126 in the attached screen capture. Both of those annotations contain only digits, with no added spaces before or after the number, yet the border is much wider than necessary. Is there a way to force the borders to have the same amount of white space on all four sides?
Is there a way to sort by PRO files and PDF files? Sometimes the songs on the tablets get so messed up it seems easier to delete them and import them all from scratch. The problem with that is, some of the meta data for the PDF files is not embedded in the PDF files, so I have to go through them, one by one, and add it again, if I delete them. So I would like to have an easy way to delete only the PRO files.
I use a10.5" Android tablet, with files displayed as A5 landscape, and generally use auto-crop to make best use of the space to show the music. I've been finding recently more occasions when a file is displayed with the right-hand side clipped - or sometimes substantially cut off. It can generally be corrected by going through the 'crop' routine again, but is vexatious when a file fails to display fully when switching to it in the middle of a set.
This glitch hasn't happened in the past: have some changes been made in recent updates that could make it more common?
Hi Folks - I have my Android tablet stuffed full of scores and don't particularly want (or have room) to add audio files to it as well. All my audio is on my NAS drive. What I would really love is to link the audio player in Mobile Sheets to files on my NAS, but as that is not possible is there a way to use the Smart Button to link to audio files on my NAS. I can do it on the PC version as the NAS is mapped to a drive letter and clicking the Smart Button starts the file fine if I set the URL to the file address, but I cant seem to get to work on my Android tablet via its IP address (I don't think you can map drives in Android?!?).
I'm not particularly up to speed with Android so it might not be possible or its just my lack of knowledge.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
