I'm testing out the file you provided and the link is reported like this for some reason: file:../../../../AppData/Local/Packages/Zubersoft.MobileSheets_9fx6hze9e3cne/LocalState/Backing_Tracks/Pirates.mp3#page=1
So that's creating some annoying problems. I'll have to create another build for you once I figure out how to handle this... You also have different links on the left and right side of the first song page. I'm not sure if that was intentional.

Hey Mike, I cleared the library, uninstalled old, installed new, imported the song again and got the same result (with both Quality and Speed Render settings).
I had the two links just in case having the mp3 in the Local State folder might make a different. As mentioned though, I would far prefer to be able to use the original Onedrive folder.
It seems to me that the error is now indicating that it's finding the right file but somehow it's not accepting the Windows application association (although the filespaths in the imported PDF still seem very different than the pre-import version). Assuming the app knows now to translate the filepath to get to the correct file, could it have something to do with the windows file association? I have mp3s set to open with Windows Media Player, which I believe is default in W11.

The tests I had run were with the latest file you provided, and creating the "Backing_Tracks" folder under the LocalState folder worked perfectly fine. I'll run more tests with the original file you provided, and I'll try to recreate a folder path from one of the links in that document to ensure it works. I'm assuming you made sure to toggle on the "File system" permission after reinstalling, as that will get turned off each time you reinstall.

I've sent you another installer to fix issues I found with the links in 01 Dave's Gig Program - Latin.pdf.

YES!! Thank you! I finally got the link (the one on the right that points to the Backing_Tracks folder that I created under the LocalState folder) to open the mp3 file!
As much as I appreciate all the work you have already put into this, I'm still not sure it's going to be the best for my use-case (being able to easily and natively annotate my library of existing PDFs AND be able to use existing links in those PDFs to open mp3s from my existing local folder). Maybe I'm not understanding the Library and Import features well enough but it seems to me that:
- Every time I modify my source PDF in another tool (a frequent occurence), I'll always have to re-import it and overwrite the copy that MobileSheets created for me; and
- I will have to move my entire library of mp3's to a folder somewhere under the LocalState folder for the links to work correctly.
Do I understand those points correctly? I really do love the tool and will definitely recommend it to all my tablet-using orchestra friends, but I'm still not convinced that it's the best tool for my solo gigs with large, multi-page PDFs that are edited frequently and from which I need to be able to easily open the mp3 backing tracks from native links. I don't want to ask for any more of your time. If my use-case is too far removed from the way your tool was designed, I may just have to revert to the PDF reader I was using before.

UPDATE: Mike, please do not spend any more time on this now. I'm realizing there is quite a bit of functionality that I did not get from the documentation that may have rendered a lot of this unnecessary (editing a song to embed the audio and using smart buttons , for instance). I need to explore the product more to determine if it is the right fit for me but I am encouraged but what I just found. If I need anything else, I will start a new thread, but I think I just need to explore the product more at this point. Thank you again for everything.

Dave,
1) Every time I modify my source PDF in another tool (a frequent occurence), I'll always have to re-import it and overwrite the copy that MobileSheets created for me; and
That is true, if you modify the file, you have to put the updated file in the place MobileSheets is referencing the file. However, you can do that in many ways. You can literally just copy the file into the storage location and overwrite the existing file. You can change the storage location and work directly out of whatever folder you use to manage all your PDFs. You can synchronize to a cloud folder if that's easier.
2) I will have to move my entire library of mp3's to a folder somewhere under the LocalState folder for the links to work correctly.
No, you absolutely do not need to do this. I tested your first PDF which links to C:\Users\dave\OneDrive\Music\Backing_Tracks\Besame Mucho - Bocelli version.mp3 and that loaded just fine. I just recreated that folder path on my device and the file was loaded in an external media player.
If you add the audio file to the song in the song editor, or you use a smart button, then you are correct, you don't have to rely on hyperlinks. There are other benefits to playing the audio track from within MobileSheets as well. You just have some extra steps required to set that up. MobileSheets also supports automatically associating audio files with PDFs that are imported if they have the same name (just enable Settings->Import Settings->Automatically Add Matching Audio).

Thanks again, Mike. I am confident now that I can use MobileSheets for both of my main use-cases. And I *really* appreciate your amazing responsiveness. Just one more question: you've no doubt figured out that my primary use-case involves multiple audio files attached to a single PDF (i.e. "song"). Is there an upper limit to the number of songs that can be associated with one PDF? I have one that might approach 200 audio files.
