Hi, I'm just starting the long process of converting all my paper sheet music to e-form and I'm using the trial version of MobileSheets. I do have the full user manual but don't want to read 180 pages to get 3 basic answers. Appreciate all replies.
1. when I buy the regular app, will my 10 songs in the trial version automatically transfer over?
2. if I get a larger tablet, will my music be accessible when I add the app to it and login?
3. Where are files actually stored? On my hard drive or in the cloud? In other words, the more music I upload to MobileSheets, the more storage I use on my device?
Thank you,

Hi
You will not lose your trial version songs although you might have to use the trial version to backup the database, install the full version and then restore the backup.
If you have an android version and purchased through Play Store then you don't have to buy the app again to install on a second ANDROID tablet. If you bought via Mike's FastStore or have a Windows or IOS version then I believe that you will be limited to one installation per licence (probably uninstall it and install on the second tablet).
All files are stored on the tablet (don't want any internet issues when performing at a gig). This means that you need to backup and restore if moving to a second tablet i.e. you can't just login and see them as asked in 2.
The manual is well worth a read especially if you have lots of files to import - easier to get it right at the start rather than trying to fix it later. Even if you don't understand everything in the manual, reading it will give you clues about what the app can do and you can then look it up when you need to.
There are a few posts about converting paper scores to import into MS; suggest you use the forum search mechanism to see if you can find them (Scanning might be a search term)

I'm going to copy my answer from the response to your email:
1) No, they are distributed as separate applications. If you go to Settings->Backup and Restore->Backup Library in the trial version, that will generate a .msb file. You can then restore that file in the paid version under Settings->Backup and Restore->Restore Library from Backup. This will also transfer over all the application settings.
2) Yes, you can install your Google Play purchase on the new device without having to pay again, and then you can transfer your library over using a .msb file as described above.
3) It's stored under the application storage location, which is specified under Settings->Storage->Set the MobileSheets Storage Location. By default, the folder is /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.zubersoft.mobilesheetspro/files. All of the files must be stored on the tablet as MobileSheets is designed for offline usage so that users don't need an internet connection in order to access their library (which is important for live performances where internet connectivity may not be available).

I would recommend uninstalling the trial version. It will only cause potential confusion if you leave that installed. You can then restore the backup file you created in the paid version.
