I newly installed companion 2.0.6 on my laptop (Win 8.1) and tried to use it for the very first time (I really never ever used Companion before). Connected to the tablet and the Companion showed my library correctly. I tried to start "Backup Library" set the path and the filename and started it, nothing happened, progress 0% and that's it. When I looked into the given directory I can see a file with the name I have specified with a size of 0 bytes. When I cancel the backup that file disappears.
When I edit a song's library entry in Companion, the changes are correctly transported to the tablet and show up in MS there as expected.
Am I missing something? Should the backup work in MSProCompanion on Win 8.1?

In 1.0.7, Chordpro files with the NewPage directive ({new_page} {np}) display as blank pages.

This worked fine in 1.0.6.

For songs that have multiple verses and a chorus, I like to format them with 1 verse and the chorus on each page, giving me control over where the page breaks are.

I have used regular MobileSheets for about 3 months and now trying to switch to Pro.

When I try and finger pinch to set the zoom, I get weird results.   Most times the page will zoom further in (or out) after I release.   This happens 1/2 to 1 second after I lift from the screen.   Only occasionally will it stay where I wanted it.   Even with regular MobileSheets on this tablet, setting the zoom could be a little touchy but there was never a jump in size after I lifted my fingers from the screen.  I primarily use portrait orientation.

I have tried Auto-Crop but still seem to get results that are zoomed in more than what the crop outline indicates should be.   I do not have night mode enabled even thought that Auto-Crop bug was fixed in 1.0.6.   Experimenting seemed to indicate that if I zoomed fully out before Auto-Crop it worked better but that has not been consistent.

I updated to Pro 1.0.7 from 1.0.5 and rechecked some before posting.

I did a backup of music from regular MobileSheets with Companion to my PC and then import with Companion Pro.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, android 4.4.2

1 - Still no extract of audio files

2 - Still can't extract a selection of files, it's one or everything

3 - As an additional feature In Companion, nice to see if there is an audio file associated with a chart

4 - It would also be good if we could only display the columns we were interested in. For example, I don't care who wrote it, what key it's in, how difficult, etc., so I have no need to display those columns.

I see there are dozens of recorders available for Android. Does anyone have a recommendation for a voice recorder that can work with MSPro (e.g., easy to get to, runs in background, non-interfering)?

I'm pleased to announce the release of updates to both MS Pro and the companion app. This is a fairly big update because I've updated the entire application to use Google's new material design theme. I tried to incorporate as much of it as I reasonably could. I'd love to hear feedback from people to see what they do or don't like, and what is or is not working.  I've also changed text and chord pro files so that they will use as much of the screen as they can by splitting into as many columns as possible. This should work really well with larger tablets.

- Added additional sorting options to the Songs tab including a numerical sort
- Text and Chord Pro files will now use as many columns as will fit on the screen

I'm having a problem with page rotation that worked correctly in the last beta version.  I mentioned a while back that I have a bunch of half-page marches in my library that are scanned in landscape mode.  In order to get them to display full screen in landscape orientation, Mike suggested that I rotate the pages in the editor and that worked great in the beta.

I just upgraded to the official version and now these rotated pages are losing the right 3rd of the page.  I can rotate them back and see the full page so the data isn't being lost, there's just a problem with the scaling.

Mike, let me know if a sample file would help and I can upload one.

In night mode the mark shows up as you move the stylus for the first mark, just like in normal mode. When making a second, or more, mark, it doesn't display until the stylus is lifted off the screen. Another interesting effect is changing the color of the mark does not result in the color selected, ie., select red, color turns out light blue. This happens on the both the p-900 and tf700. The dark theme does not display this effect.

As a newbie I'd like to know if it's possible to use professional guitar fingerings within MobileSheets like chord diagrams, numbers, numbers with a circle around, roman numerals etc. If not, is there a way to import this kind of stuff and to make use of it in a productive way?

Sometimes I want to cover up something that is wrong on the printed pdf.  In the past, I have done this by creating a text box with white background.  I did this pretty often.

It seems I can't do this now.  It seems you have to put in some text in order to save the text box.

Could this be changed back to the way it used to be set up?  (I think other people might benefit from it the way I have used it too).
