After creating smartbuttons to send out MIDI on device A, and transferring the library to device B, using backup/restore, the smart buttons do not work on device B.

No MIDI data is sent out on device B when pressing these buttons.

Adding a new smart button directly on device B, with exactly the same settings does function on device B however, and so are all the MIDI instructions in the MIDI tab of the song editor (that were also all created on device A)

I just discovered that the locally created MIDI Smart Buttons, also stop working on device B, after ??? I do not know after what exactly. Maybe quitting MSPro . . . ?

I have not been able to test their functoning on device A (that is my master MSPro device, where I do all edits, but it currently has no MIDI device attached to it)

I have always checked of prevent the pedal from changing songs so I can use the pedal to change pages within a song, but without the possibility of accidentally moving to the next chart in a set list (thank you again for adding that feature, Mike, a few years ago upon my request).

So, I have always switched to the next song in a a set list by tapping the right side of the screen.

This does not seem to work anymore.  

Any thoughts ?  (User error is always a possibility.  Maybe I changed some other setting by accident ?).

I have been using MS for a few years now and absolutely love it! Can't do without it now... But at first, being a bit sceptical and not wanting to take a risk losing my files, I chose to 'manage my files'. This wasn't a very good idea I have since discovered. I am certain now that MS would do a much better job at managing my files than myself.

I would now like to have MS manage my files, but I have many files (2000-3000 give or take) and many setlists that I need to keep; for example: church setlists repeat every year, or just about.

Is there a way I can transfer everything over without redoing my setlists?
My songs would still have the exact same name as before. If this is not possible, any suggestions as to how to make the transition without re-entering all my setlists would be welcome. Collections also, but especially setlists. If I do have to re-enter everything, it's not the end of the world of course, I would just like to know the alternatives.

Mike, I should have trusted your program from the start, but I have seen many bad programs in my day, so "once bitten" (more than once), "twice shy" I guess... Your program however is quite the opposite I am happy to say; one of the best I have seen, and the support?? Man you ROCK! Can hardly believe you are just one guy...

I would like to share my experience with MSP on a Onyx Boox Max Carta.

MSP shows severe bugs on the Android 4.0.4 that comes with the device.

ALL these issues go away on the Onyx Max devices, if you upgrade Android to version 4.4.

A German reseller of Onyx devices provides an update to 4.4 - this is not recommended by Onyx nor "official" in any way but it works and results in much better experience with MobileSheetsPro. This is my personal experience - please try yourself - you can return to Android 4.0.4 at any time using the firmware from Onyx.

- first install the recommended firmware from the Onyx web site to be sure that you have the officially recommended firmware on your device

My device came with version 1.8.2 - this is the same version as published on the Onyx site.

However, Onyx support told me that my version number does not match the published version exactly !!!
So, the distributor on eBay, where I bought the device has modified the firmware ! I do not know the reason.

You can install the official firmware by copying the UPDATE.ZIP to the root folder of an external SD card and then using the automatic OTA mechanism that is supported by the "Settings" menu.

- now install the update to Android 4.4 from here

The normal UPGRADE.ZIP mechanism does not work and you do NOT need UPGRADE.ZIP from the page above to update to Android 4.4 !!!

Unzip to a new folder.
Enable USB debugging in your device settings.
Start the MFGTOOL2.EXE.
Shutdown Android on the device.
Restart as described on the page above: hold < and > keys and the ON/OFF key pressed for 3-4 secs.
Then MFGTOOL shows that it recognizes the device.
Now click on START button in MFGTOOL.
The program does the rest.
After completion, press STOP button in MFGTOOL.

Your Onyx Boox Max Carta now has Android 4.4.
Reinstall MobileSheetsPro from PlayStore and configure it.
You will immediately recognize that MSP looks MUCH better and many bugs do not appear, for example cropping PDF now works and all dialogs and menu entries are shown correctly :-)

I am so happy that this process worked - now I can start to use MSP as suggested by the developer.

Now I can also install Android apps that require 4.4 - for example, document management apps like Zotero and Mendeley.

I use MSP but the rest of my band does not (shame!). Is there any way, other than screenshots, of printing set lists as pdf files? I know I can send individual songs to the Android print function, but what I'd like is a list of songs in a set that I can distribute by Bluetooth or WiFi or whatever?

When a ChordPro file that has extension ".txt" is imported, [Chords] are still recognized, but {directives} are not. Is this intentional?

If I click into the upper part of a song to make annotations and then click the top right OK or Cancel buttons, then the program takes me back to the song list. Please change it to go back to the song after annotating / drawing instead of to the list. I came from the song and want to continue viewing the same page after completing an annotation.

I use a BT-106 airturn duo with my mobileSheets Pro app.  Does anyone know if there is a setting in MSP that will allow me to change the function of my airturn pedals?  Specifically, I want to page ahead with the left pedal and page back with the right pedal--the duo is factory set to do the opposite of this.  I've contacted airturn support and they say this setting can't be changed with the airturn modes but could possibly be changed with a setting in my music app.  Thanks for any help.

on stage I' m using MSPro with my old Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (N-8000) with a rooted Android 4.4.2. Bringing MSPro in the foreground while playing music with the internal sound player or with napster leads to silence, MSPro pauses the playing in the other app. Other apps don't show this behaviour and MSPro doesn't show it on my newer Tablet (Samsung SM-P600) with Android 5.1.1. 
Has anyone a solution for this problem?

I have noticed, that MS Companion v2.6.2 doesnot load PDFs from Directory by method: Drag and drop directly on the MSPro Companion window.

To be more precise, I am talking about procedure updating songs if matching files are found doesn't work
After execute above files are not updated.

What is interesting, when I use Import>Batch Import procerude, that way works as it should.
